Project Smile by Bond!
This past year Dr. Bond decided to give back to the community by holding a contest of sorts. We announced that we were giving away smile makeovers to deserving individuals that are committed to making a difference in the community or the lives of others. The contest was open to people of all ages, male or female, from all walks of life!

We realize that comprehensive dental care can be costly, often amounting to thousands of dollars per case. Our goal on a daily basis is to improve the quality of life for our patients and with Project Smile By Bond we were able to provide this service free of charge to many deserving individuals.

Of course we had a huge response! Out of the many applicants that were submitted for consideration, we decided to provide minimal smile makeovers of up to $800 apiece to our runners-up. Among them, a school teacher received a Zoom teeth whitening procedure and a UW student received a new splinted bridge to help restore his front teeth, just to name a few!

In the end, we couldn't make a decision between two people and decided to offer the extensive smile makeover to Diane Radischat and an additional extensive smile makeover to Pam Hance.

Diane Radischat

Pam Hance

Currently, they are both mid-treatment for their smile makeovers. Dr. Bond has logged about 20 hours so far, working diligently on each of them. Some of our Team Members donated their time to assist with procedures and help out at the office during their appointments. Both women have been a joy to work with and we are all looking forward their new smiles in the coming months! Check the web site for updates on Diane and Pam!

We have also signed up to participate in the Give Back a Smile Program, a National Humanitarian Program of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This program was set up by the AACD to allow AACD Member Dentists to share their talents to help survivors of domestic violence who have suffered damage to, or lost their smiles in an abusive attack. This program was created in 1999 and over 6,000 Dentists and other Dental Professionals have volunteered their time to help complete 604 domestic abuse cases. We are very excited to be a part of such a wonderful program and are currently taking on a survivor's case to provide her with a new smile, at no cost.
